Beers, Smears and Prairie Whores

10th July 2004

I’m mightily hung-over today. Tebbutt and Hickman plied me with ale, then taxi-d me over to Junktion 7 for some hot thrash-punk girl action.

I’d been keen to see The Smears, and meet the singer who’s a regular poster over at YAH. She was very accommodating considering I was talking boozy drivel. Also enjoyed Dragster, and Little Whores on the Prairie. Not the sort of thing one gets to say often…

Woof woof. Colly’s a mucky little pup, ain’t he?

I’m sure eM has only the best motives, but I would warn her to look out for Col’s furtive nocturnal snufflings…

Erm, my apologies for this underhand commenting. Sadly, my colleagues have little better to do than attempt to turn my life into a soap opera. That’s what happens to you if you don’t have a telly…
