EE’s $15,000 Shootout contest

I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be helping judge entries to the amazing Expression Engine $15,000 Shootout. There are lots of huge prizes for the strongest EE-based websites, and you have until the 28th Feb to submit your design. If you’re not yet an EE user, maybe now is the time to download the free Core version and give your site a makeover.

The other judges might be familiar to most of you: Molly, Stan, Cameron, Narayan, Scrivs, Mark, Emily Chang, Om Malik, Max and Jesse. Obviously, none of them really know anything about web design, so it’s only me you have to impress. Ahem.

Contest entries can be based upon a Commercial license, Personal license, or the free Core build, so anybody with an EE site can enter. Sites will be judged on innovation, excellence of design, usability, and content.®‹On 1st March, all the entries will be revealed. Then the entries will be scored and the winners will be announced on the 15th March.

There will be 10 Commercial winners, 10 Personal winners, and 10 Core winners. The prizes are the same for each. That means there are 30 prizes to giveaway!
