There are a few things I’d love to write about, but can’t - not until Monday. So, for now I’ll share something very personal. Here are the lyrics to a song about a man who imagines he’s married his girlfriend on a nightbus. This song reflects where my head is at right now, on many levels. This may not be what you assume. I’d tell you who the song is by, but then it wouldn’t be mine any more…
My book Beginning CSS Web Development has arrived, and is now in stock at Amazon. What a strange feeling!
Some (most?) of you probably know that I have written a book. It has taken seven months of blood, sweat and beers, but today Beginning CSS Web Development has finally gone to print.
I found myself again over the weekend. It took 400 driven miles, 15 walked miles, 2000 feet of ascent and my two best friends to track me down, but I’m delighted to announce that I’m back.
Yes, yes - self-promotion. Still, it does make my Mother very happy. Ah, why are us Brits so apologetic? Anyway, a quick “thanks” to my Fairy Godmother, who conspired to have me quizzed by three UK web magazines this month.
Forgive the moans, but I’m hoping it’ll make me feel better to talk to someone.
Three little words, Emma. (Forgive the overtly personal post, but my valentine is 150 miles away this month, so I need to get the message across any way I can).
Following five successful years of running her own business, and nearly two years putting up with me, Emma has finally managed to get me to build her a website.
Gee, thanks Jon. We all hate memes, yet we all respond. As usual, no idea where it began, but I’ll waste some valuable time on it. Let the infection spread…
